WoMan@Work invites women to a resilience workshop Interactive day workshop on November 5, 2026

Oberbergischer Kreis. Professional demands, family responsibilities, and societal expectations shape the daily lives of many women. It is all the more important to strengthen one's resilience and consciously create space for self-care. Under the title “Being a Woman. Staying Myself. – Resilience Between Work, Everyday Life, and Expectations”, the WoMan@Work Initiative invites you to an interactive day workshop in Gummersbach on November 5, 2026.

The focus of the workshop is on how women can stay true to themselves even in challenging life and work situations. Participants will explore their personal stress patterns, inner drivers, and individual resources, developing practical strategies for a resilient everyday life.

Topics include the fundamentals of resilience, dealing with perfectionism and performance pressure, the five inner drivers, as well as the importance of self-care and healthy boundaries. Additionally, the workshop offers an opportunity to reflect on the diverse roles and expectations women face today in both professional and personal life.

The workshop combines professional input with practical exercises, reflection phases, and discussions in pairs and small groups. The goal is to provide participants with concrete methods that they can sustainably integrate into their daily lives.

Under the guiding principle “I Can Be a Woman – and Stay Myself.”, participants will gain new insights to strengthen their resilience, become more aware of their own needs, and navigate their professional and personal lives with greater clarity and composure.

The workshop is an event by WoMan@Work, a joint initiative of the Economic Development Agency Oberbergischer Kreis, the Jobcenter Oberberg, the Employment Agency Bergisch Gladbach, and Oberbergischer Kreis.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Innovation Hub Gummersbach.

Interested women are warmly invited to participate in the free workshop.
