The specialist department conducts the following actions:

Social Day:

On Social Day, apprentices are released from work to engage in social institutions, nature reserves, or non-profit organizations. Typical activities include gardening in senior centers, maintaining cultural landscapes, or enhancing youth centers.

The initiative aims to raise awareness of the value of volunteering, promote social skills, and intensify exchanges between district administration and non-profit organizations.

Digital Advent Calendar:

The Digital Advent Calendar is an online campaign published on this website during the pre-Christmas season. Behind the 24 "doors" are committed individuals from Oberberg with their stories.

The campaign honors existing engagement, showcases the diversity of activities, and aims to motivate others to volunteer as well.

Marketplace for Good Deals:

The marketplace is a format that brings together local businesses and non-profit organizations to establish unbureaucratic collaborations. On this marketplace, money is "taboo." Instead, resources such as expertise, working hours, and materials are exchanged for volunteer work or networks.

International Volunteer Day:

On International Volunteer Day, administrative leaders swap their administrative duties for voluntary activities.

The aim of the initiative is to deepen the understanding of administrative leaders for the concerns of volunteers and offer volunteers on-site exchange opportunities about their voluntary work.
