The environmental office has set up an on-call service that ensures availability "around the clock." This on-call service is responsible for:

• Accidents involving water-polluting substances (e.g., fuels, heating oil, or chemicals)

• Commercially caused potential nuisances (excluding restaurants):

• Noise,

• Odors,

• Vibrations, and

• Visual disturbances.

The on-call staff will initiate immediate measures on-site if necessary and subsequently follow-up actions to eliminate the causes, contain the consequences, and remedy any possible damages.

Notification is made through the district control center, which is constantly reachable at the telephone number 112 .
