Daycare

If daytime home care for a dependent person cannot be ensured temporarily (e.g., due to the caregiver's employment), it is possible to use a daycare facility.

If the dependent person's income and assets are insufficient, they will receive the necessary and appropriate care services as part of assistance for care in facilities through the Department of Social Affairs of Oberbergischer Kreis.

The application process can be done in writing or in person at the Social Welfare Office of Oberbergischer Kreis or the social welfare offices of the cities and municipalities where the dependent person had their usual residence before admission to the facility. A care consultant will be available to answer questions and provide information.

Proof of the dependent person's income and asset situation, as well as the care grade notice from the care fund, must be submitted during the application process.
